About the page...
Simon gently brushes Grace and Grace finds a snarl in Simon's tail, causing Simon to snarl - or at least whine like a little puppy.

Grace thinks her clothes look grotty - maybe it's because she just threw them on the floor. Simon's clothes are neatly folded on the floor and, as we all know, clothes that are folded on the floor do not get dirty. Well, at least they're less wrinkled.

    As if Grace cares.

    The story thus far...
Grace and Simon, two teenage tearaways, have discovered a passage to Reality in the basement of The tré (a tiny theatre in their miniscule town of Otterstow). Unfortunately, they have accidentally trapped themselves and cannot return, although they do not seem to be in any hurry to do so.
Ignatius (the mayor of Otterstow) suspects this is the case and has enlisted the aid of the parents; Slide, Sandra, Pete and Gina. None of the adults have figured out how to open the passage, which seems to involve a mysterious box that they cannot open.

What's going on right now:
Grace and Simon are exploring the Rialto, which is the theatre on the other side of the passage.
They've just finished dinner, had a bath and they're drying off in booth that blows warm air from underneath.

After a thorough scrubbing, they stepped into the glass booth, their brushes at the ready*. As a soft, warm breeze came from beneath, the two exchanged brushes and began to meticulously groom each other. Within minutes their pelts were clean, dry and orderly.

"That is so neat," Grace said, stepping out. She looked at her clothes piled on the floor and then frowned. "I feel so clean and fresh. I hate to put those dirty old togs on again."

"They're not all that dirty," Simon said.
